For RONA, TIA partnered with a beloved family influencer to create authentic, shoppable content that inspired DIY projects and drove real foot traffic to stores across Canada.
The spark
RONA is a home improvement and construction retailer offering a wide range of products for renovations, repairs, and maintenance, serving both DIY customers and professional contractors.
The challenge? RONA wasn't top of mind for holiday décor, with shoppers often choosing competitors for their seasonal needs. We set out to build awareness and consideration of RONA's décor and DIY products during the holiday season by connecting online inspiration with offline action.

The strategy
We partnered with Angela Price, family influencer and wife of NHL goaltender Carey Price, to bring RONA's holiday campaign to life. Angela developed a holiday card display concept that resonated with her audience of family-focused followers, creating beautifully styled in-feed content on Instagram that inspired her community to recreate the project at home.
To extend the impact, her post directed audiences to an accompanying blog on the RONA website, where detailed step-by-step instructions were hosted. This integration showcased the project in an authentic, relatable way while driving meaningful traffic to RONA's owned channels.

Our creative strategy centered on authentic DIY inspiration that felt achievable for everyday families. By pairing Angela's warm, relatable content style with a practical holiday project, we created content that was both aspirational and actionable. The seamless connection between social content and the RONA blog gave audiences a clear path from inspiration to creation, with all the products they needed available at their local RONA store.
