Well, well, well—welcome back to another week in marketing! We’re so glad you decided to stop by. This week was quieter, but we still have some fantastic updates for you. Dare I say…it’s the calm before the storm? From Facebook trying to bring back the poke, to IT Cosmetics partnering with an ✨icon✨, Reddit Pro rolling out a much-needed update, and so much more. Sit back, relax, grab a sweet treat, and enjoy this week’s update!

👉 The Return of the Great FB Poke

For the third time this decade, Facebook is reviving the Poke button. Yes, you can poke your friends again. No, we don’t know why Meta is so desperate for this feature to stick. It’s safe to say the Poke button will now be passed down through generations at this point, but will it stay this time?

✨ An Icon Joins Forces with IT Cosmetics

IT Cosmetics announced its first-ever celebrity partner, Emmy-nominated actor and producer Kristen Davis. The Sex and the City star is fronting the “Glow Comes Naturally” campaign, highlighting real skin confidence and sharing her journey with rosacea and evolving skin needs, especially while working in front of cameras 24/7.

☀️ Sun’s Out, Specs On

We’re quick to protect our skin, but what about our eyes? ZEISS shares a powerful message in their latest campaign advertising their UV protected glasses. It shows us just how harsh UV can be on our eyes—even by breaking down materials built to last outdoors.

👭 Meet Your Style Twin

Depop’s latest campaign proves secondhand isn’t just about sustainability, it’s about connection. Imagine selling a sweater and spotting it on your fashion twin across the room. Resale fashion keeps building connections (and closets)—that’s “Where Taste Recognizes Taste.”

@depop This is exactly what it looks like when you list something on Depop, someone likes it, buys it and validates your taste. Look out for our new campaign – ‘Where Taste Recognizes Taste’ – in Chicago, San Jose and San Francisco. 🎥 by Tom Emmerson #depop #tasterecognizestaste #secondhandfashion #fyp ♬ original sound - Depop

👀 Reddit Pro Tools Just Leveled Up!!

Reddit’s making news-sharing easier than ever. With auto-imported articles, performance tracking, and AI-powered recs in the new “Links” tab, publishers can spark smarter reach and deeper convos—because real human perspectives matter most.

📈 Meta Ads, But Make Them Trendy

Meta’s Reels trending ads are going mainstream. With AI curating the most viral, culturally relevant videos, marketers can now slot their promos alongside top Reels content. The result? Bigger reach, brand-safe exposure, and a proven lift in awareness.
