From AI takeovers to collabs straight out of our dreams, brands and platforms everywhere are reinventing themselves — or at least trying to. Whether it’s a caffeine-fueled fandom, a platform mid–identity crisis, or a full-on productivity glow-up, one thing’s clear: everyone’s in their rebrand era!!! Stay tuned for mine (kidding)… onto this week!

🎀 Gap’s Fire Collab Streak Continues!!

Gap is on a collab hot streak!! After its viral drop with KATSEYE, the brand teams up with Sandy Liang for a nostalgia-fueled collection. Her short film Sandy’s Dream Closet reimagines Gap’s Y2K staples through a girly-grunge lens, fueling the brand’s Gen Z comeback. A+ from us Gap!

📱 Reels in Main Feed??

Instagram is testing a new layout in India (and maybe globally 👀) that opens the app straight to Reels instead of the regular home feed. With short-form video driving most of IG’s growth, the platform’s clearly doubling down on a video-first future—but will users scroll with it, or scroll away?

❤️‍🔥 Starbucks Enters Its Swiftie Era

To celebrate Taylor Swift’s 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, Starbucks transformed its Nashville store into a full-on Taylorverse with vinyl pop-ups, photo booths, and global listening parties. The first 113,000 Rewards members who caught the hidden in-app “easter egg” scored a free drink.

🤖 Figma Gets an AI Glow-Up

Figma just teamed up with Google to bring Gemini 2.5 Flash, Gemini 2.0, and Imagen 4 straight into its design suite, serving faster image generation, smarter edits, and a productivity glow-up for 13 million users.
