    TikTok feeds content to it’s users algorithmically by breaking it into two sections. TikTok receives a user video and releases it through an initial push to users. Once this is done their algorithm gives your TikTok video a performance rating based on best practices. This consists of how many shares, comments and likes your video receives during its initial release. 

    The TikTok algorithm then measures how much of the video is watched in conjunction with how many likes it receives before triggering the platform to release the video into phase two, each phase leading to more visibility, and potential virality.
